Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate should have 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying, tendering, and pre-contract estimation. This role requires a detail-oriented professional capable of managing cost estimation, contract administration, and cost control to ensure the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender documents for high-rise building projects.
  • Conduct quantity take-offs and measurements to ensure accuracy in project costing.
  • Evaluate and analyze contractor bids and tenders, negotiating terms and pricing.
  • Monitor project budgets and control costs throughout the construction phase.
  • Manage contract administration and variations, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment on project scope and costs.
  • Identify potential cost risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on project costs, forecasts, and financial status.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor with proven expertise in high-rise building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of tendering processes and pre-contract cost estimation.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
