Position Summary:

We are seeking a Sales Head with proven experience in steel product trading to lead and expand our sales operations. The ideal candidate must have a deep understanding of the steel market, strong client relationships, and the strategic acumen to grow business across corporate, B2B, and B2C segments in both existing and new territories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Manage and expand sales of steel products including TMT bars, structural steel, MS wire rods, binding wires, HR plates, and sheets.
  • Leverage the existing client base and establish new business relationships with dealers, distributors, construction companies, and industrial buyers.
  • Lead and build a high-performing sales team; provide training, direction, and motivation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing to support informed business decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and performance analysis to senior management.
  • Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and legal standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 57 years of experience in steel product sales/trading.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in the steel industry.
  • Strong client network in construction, fabrication, or infrastructure sectors (mandatory).
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities to manage and inspire a sales team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
