Role & responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities:
1. Project Management and Execution:
Maintain all ISO codes and standards as controlled documents in the laboratory.
Ensure compliance with all organizational systems and procedures (QMS/EMS/OHS).
Implement and oversee execution of Test Plans, Checklists, and other quality formats.
2. Design Management:
Identify material sources, conduct material tests, and ensure conformity with specifications and standards.
Conduct regular material tests as outlined in Project Quality Plans (PQP) and maintain strict documentation of results.
3. Coordination with Stakeholders:
Prepare quality reports, analyze data, and securely back up all information.
Collaborate with the head office to ensure timely mobilization of equipment and resources.
4. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
Ensure that suitable measuring and testing equipment is available and maintain a periodically updated master list.
Handle the identification, calibration, and maintenance of testing and measuring equipment.
Secondary Responsibilities:
1. Risk Management:
Conduct compatibility tests whenever material sources change and conduct product quality checks as per procedure guidelines.
2. Innovation and Technology Assessment:
Implement quality process improvements and conduct regular reviews of all reports related to quality matters.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
Inform the reporting authority of findings with comprehensive data analysis and comments at regular intervals.
Technical Competencies:
1. Quality Management Systems (QMS): In-depth knowledge of ISO standards and compliance requirements.
2. Testing and Measurement: Proficient in designing and implementing test plans, conducting material conformity tests, and maintaining equipment.
3. Data Analysis: Ability to analyze quality data and prepare comprehensive reports.
4. Calibration Techniques: Expertise in identifying, calibrating, and maintaining testing equipment.
5. Project Management: Experience in leading quality assurance projects, adhering to timelines, and ensuring compliance with organizational systems.
Functional Competencies:
1. Documentation and Reporting: Skill in maintaining quality-related documentation and generating timely reports.
2. Stakeholder Coordination: Effective in collaborating with various departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment on quality objectives.
3. Risk Management: Capable of conducting risk assessments and compatibility tests, ensuring quality control measures are in place.
4. Process Improvement: Proficient in implementing quality process improvements and innovation initiatives.
5. Regulatory Compliance: Understanding of industry regulations and standards related to quality assurance and control.
