Job Purpose:

To deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales targets through professional handling of customers at the jewellery counter. Responsible for showcasing jewellery collections, building customer relationships, and maintaining brand standards in line with C. Krishniah Chetty Jewellers legacy of trust and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement & Sales

  2. Welcome and greet customers courteously and identify their jewellery requirements.

  3. Present and explain product features, designs, purity, and pricing to customers.
  4. Assist customers in selecting jewellery and provide recommendations based on their preferences and budget.
  5. Convert walk-in customers to sales and achieve monthly sales targets.

  6. Upsell and cross-sell jewellery and accessories to maximize sales value.

  7. Product Knowledge & Display

  8. Maintain in-depth knowledge of gold, diamond, platinum, silver, and gemstone jewellery.

  9. Ensure counters and showcases are well-maintained, clean, and attractively displayed.

  10. Report stock requirements, fast-moving items, and customer trends to the Showroom Manager.

  11. Billing & Documentation

  12. Prepare sales invoices accurately and process billing as per company policy.

  13. Handle cash, card, and digital transactions responsibly.

  14. Maintain records of sales, exchanges, and special orders.

  15. Customer Relationship Management

  16. Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers for repeat business.

  17. Capture customer details in CRM and follow up for future sales opportunities.

  18. Handle customer feedback and coordinate with the service team for after-sales support.

  19. Compliance & Standards

  20. Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and showroom decorum.

  21. Follow all safety, security, and operational procedures.
  22. Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality of customer information.
