Accounts Payable Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Accounting & General Ledger (GL) Management

  2. Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting transactions and journal entries.

  3. Ensure accuracy and completeness of GL reconciliations.

  4. Statutory Compliance (GST, TDS, TCS)

  5. Prepare, review, and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns).

  6. Understanding on TDS/TCS workings and returns.

  7. Coordinate with consultants/auditors for tax assessments and reconciliations.

  8. Financial Reporting

  9. Assist in preparation of monthly MIS.

  10. Support in statutory and internal audit activities.

  11. Process Review

  12. Identify process gaps, control deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.

  13. Support management in implementation of audit findings and process improvements.

  14. ICFR Testing & RCM Development

  15. Conduct ICFR (Internal Control over Financial Reporting) walkthroughs and control testing.

  16. Document and evaluate internal controls across key financial processes.
  17. Develop and maintain Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) for various processes.
  18. Ensure design and operational effectiveness of controls as per company and audit standards.

  19. Assist in annual ICFR certification and coordination with external auditors.

  20. Insurance & Risk Management

  21. Maintain insurance records for assets, employees, and liabilities.

  22. Coordinate renewals, claims processing, and documentation.
