Profile Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Agronomist Sales Floor Manager to lead and grow our sales team within the agriculture sector. The ideal candidate will combine expertise in agronomy with strong sales and leadership skills to drive product sales, build customer relationships, and deliver innovative solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and train the sales team to enhance performance and professional growth.
- Set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, distributors, and industry stakeholders.
- Provide agronomic support and recommendations tailored to clients' specific needs.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Understand and effectively communicate the value and technical aspects of the company's products .
- Stay updated on advancements in agronomic practices, technologies, and regulations.
- Prepare and deliver sales forecasts, budgets, and reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant industry regulations.
- Achieve the Sales Target.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in agronomy and sales, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Skills and Attributes
- Strong understanding of agricultural practices, products, and technologies.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Leadership and team-building abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on customer-centric solutions.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to interpret soil tests, crop health data, and other agronomic metrics
