We are looking for a dynamic professional from core Design background to join our Company :

Position : Design Head

Job Summary

  • To head the Design function with strong managerial capability of handling team of Design Engineers.

Specific Knowledge

  • Designing of Special Purpose Machines
  • Ability to explore design alternatives
  • Analytical Skill
  • Knowledge of Solid Edge and 3D Modeling

Responsibilities and Duties

  • New Product development
  • Strong exposure in Machine Design.
  • To prepare time line plan of different activities of the project.
  • Regular review of the project planned.
  • To work on design projects for improvement of existing products.
  • Addressing enquiries regarding specifications of machines.
  • Identify & assign members from the design team to work on particular projects.
  • Meeting with Customers to understand their requirements.
  • Creating strategic design plans to satisfy customers.
  • Devoting business concepts and interpreting customer reports to produce innovative outcomes.
  • Briefing the design team about the requirements of customers.
  • Creation & Maintenance of design side.
  • Creation, Maintenance and security of design records.
  • Fixing the project timeline and budget and making the team adhere to it.
  • Creating storyboards for customers and the team to visualize the outcome.
  • Pitching project ideas and creative visions to customers.
  • Explaining the project outline to the design team.
  • Selecting the design elements for different projects.
  • Supervising design projects and aiding the team from the beginning to the end.
  • Collecting feedback from customers.
  • Making design alterations as per the demands of customers.
  • Performing market research to create better designs.
  • Top-notch creativity and innovation.
  • Ability to convert customer briefs into creative outcomes.
  • In-depth knowledge of Solid Edge Software & 3D tool.
  • Ability to act as a leader and guide teams.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • An analytical mindset.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Problem-solving skills to resolve complex design issues.
  • Recruiting new talents for the design team.
  • Keeping the design team inspired.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • B. Tech. (Mechanical) with 10 to 20 years of relevant industrial experience in core Design function.

Compensation:- Commensurate with qualifications, experience, and professional background.

Location : Mohali (Punjab) near Chandigarh.
