Role Overview

We are looking for a
Retention Marketing Associate
to drive
digital retention growth
. You will work
directly with founders
, analyze customer behavior through
cohort analysis
, design retention campaigns, and plan
activation-style campaigns
that engage our D2C audience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Cohort Analysis & Customer Insights

  • Conduct
    cohort analysis
    to understand customer behavior, retention trends, and drop-offs.
  • Segment customers based on purchase patterns, engagement, and lifecycle stage for targeted campaigns.
  • Generate actionable insights to inform marketing, creative, and product strategies.

2. Retention Growth Strategies

  • Design and execute
    digital retention campaigns
    via email, SMS, push notifications, and app messaging.
  • Implement
    loyalty programs, referral campaigns, and personalized offers
    to boost repeat purchases.
  • Monitor KPIs such as
    repeat purchase rate, churn rate, and customer lifetime value (CLV)
    and optimize campaigns accordingly.

3. Activation-Style Campaigns (BTL)

  • Plan and execute
    online experiential campaigns or community activations
    to strengthen engagement.
  • Align activation campaigns with retention goals to improve
    retention growth
    .

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Founder Engagement

  • Work
    directly with founders
    to align retention strategies with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure campaigns are cohesive, impactful, and data-driven.

5. Reporting & Optimization

  • Generate detailed reports on retention metrics, campaign performance, and cohort trends.
  • Continuously optimize campaigns based on insights to
    maximize retention growth and ROI
    .

Key Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–2 years experience in
    retention marketing, CRM, or digital customer engagement
    .
  • D2C company experience
    is a strong plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in
    cohort analysis and retention metrics
    .
  • Experience with
    CRM tools, marketing automation, and multi-channel digital campaigns
    .
  • Creative, proactive, and data-driven mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable in a
    startup environment
    and collaborating directly with founders.
