About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated
Team Lead – Electronics
to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of mission-critical electronics for our aerospace and satellite systems. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in
power electronics, embedded hardware, and motor control
, with hands-on experience in high-reliability and radiation-tolerant designs.

As a Team Lead, you will not only provide technical guidance but also mentor engineers, manage project deliverables, and collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, mechanical, and system engineers) to achieve program goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of advanced
    DC-DC converters, motor drive electronics, ECU/driver circuits, and power distribution units
    for aerospace applications.
  • Architect and review
    radiation-tolerant and high-reliability electronics
    (space, defense, and industrial systems).
  • Define
    system-level specifications
    , perform design reviews, and ensure compliance with aerospace standards (MIL, ECSS, IPC, DO-160, etc.).
  • Guide the team in
    component selection
    (industrial, AEC-Q, mil-grade, rad-hard) considering cost, reliability, and availability.
  • Oversee
    PCB design, EMI/EMC compliance, thermal design, and reliability analysis
    .
  • Collaborate with firmware/software teams for
    motor control algorithms, actuator control electronics, and satellite subsystem interfaces
    .
  • Manage
    project schedules, resource planning, and documentation
    .
  • Mentor and upskill junior engineers, fostering a
    culture of innovation and high quality
    .
  • Interface with stakeholders, vendors, and customers to ensure technical and program alignment.

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's/Master's in
    Electronics/Electrical Engineering
    .
  • 5+ years
    of hands-on experience in power electronics, embedded hardware, or aerospace electronics.
  • Proven track record in
    team leadership or project ownership
    .
  • Expertise in:
  • DC-DC converter topologies (buck, boost, flyback, forward, isolated).
  • BLDC motor drive design and control (FOC, trapezoidal, sensor/sensorless).
  • EMI/EMC mitigation, reliability testing, and thermal management.
  • Aerospace standards: MIL-STD-461, DO-160, IPC-2152, ECSS, etc.
  • Experience with
    radiation-tolerant/hardened design
    is a strong plus.
  • Strong knowledge of
    CAD tools (Altium, OrCAD), simulation (LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink)
    .
  • Excellent
    problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
