Role Overview:

As the Senior Associate for Pithampur Schools, you will be responsible for managing the everyday implementation and operations of the educational programs in the two government schools. You will play a crucial role in driving the success of the project on the ground, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Program Manager in overseeing project timelines, coordinating with stakeholders, including school staff, government officials, and partner organizations, and ensuring that the project progresses as planned.
• Assist the Program Manager in managing resources, including staffing, materials, and other operational needs.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including government officials, partner organizations, school leadership, and community representatives.
• Conduct research and analysis to inform project planning, school improvement strategies, and decision-making.
• Develop and deliver project-related communications to all stakeholders, including project status updates, reports, and presentations.
• Track project milestones and progress, providing regular status updates to the Program Manager and other stakeholders.
• Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with the Program Manager to implement changes that enhance project performance and outcomes.
• Lead community outreach and mobilization efforts aimed at increasing student enrollment, attendance, and parental participation in school activities.
• Coordinate school-based and community-based engagement initiatives such as awareness drives, parent meetings, and education campaigns to strengthen the local ownership of the program.
• Support academic processes including monitoring classroom practices, supporting teacher capacity-building activities, and aligning school operations with academic goals.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for community engagement and participation in educational initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree with 2–4 years of relevant work experience in consulting, government, or education sectors.
• Strong understanding of school functioning, academic delivery, and education system operations.
• Experience in community mobilization and outreach, preferably in rural or development sector settings.
• Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); experience in documentation, report writing, proposals, and presentations.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with and draw insights from data; familiarity with data analysis tools.
• Proven ability to coordinate between and build relationships with diverse stakeholders within the government, schools, and partner organizations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with flexibility to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
• Strong project management skills — prioritization, goal setting, progress tracking, and course correction.
• Demonstrated commitment to social impact and prior experience working in the education or social development sector.
