Role & responsibilities

• Through knowledge Detergent Bar/Round Line Machines To take full responsibility of the shift in terms of management of staff, management of packing section and quality targets and to ensure the smooth running of the production processes
• To take full responsibility of the quality and product that is produced within the shift in line
• To ensure good communication is given either verbally or written to all members of staff
• Strategize on maintenance, work instruction and methods.
• Create plant preventative maintenance procedures.
• Plan routine maintenance of plant equipment and machinery.
• Analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults and supervise time critical equipment repairs.
• Offer technical expertise to maintenance people like supervisor, foreman, fitters and technicians.
• Oversee and control maintenance costs.
• Manage budget for current and future equipment upgrades and replacements.
• Check work-in-progress and during completion to meet specifications.
• Estimate costs on equipment, systems and structures repair or replacement.
• Support ongoing preventative maintenance program.
• Managing all requisites for Monthly production Plan i.e Ensuring availabilty/Managing of Raw material/Spares/Packing Material for smooth Operation
• Managing all personnel in the maintenance team,Production Team, delegating tasks, checking progress and assessing individual performance
• Creating department budgets and tracking expenses Maintaining an inventory of tools
• Training junior and new team members Minimising downtime and disruption to business operations
• Increasing manufacturing output and machinery performance
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and the safety of all people operating machines Preparing periodic maintenance reports and status updates
