Job Description:

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Network & Security Engineer with over 5 years of hands-on expertise in managing and troubleshooting enterprise network and security infrastructure. The candidate should have strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, along with L2-level expertise in Aruba switches & AP, Sophos Firewall, and Palo Alto End Point

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and access points in enterprise environments.
  2. Handle L2-level operations and support for Aruba switches & AP, Sophos firewall, and Palo Alto AV.
  3. Ensure secure and efficient network connectivity across LAN/WAN environments.
  4. Monitor network performance and implement improvements for stability and security.
  5. Provide timely resolution of network and security-related incidents at L2 level.
  6. Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth functioning of critical network infrastructure.
  7. Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes, and incident resolutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in networking and security technologies.
  2. Strong knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, and access points.
  3. L2-level expertise in Aruba switches, Sophos firewall, and Palo Alto AV.
  4. Solid understanding of VLANs, routing, NAT, VPN, and wireless technologies.
  5. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  6. Good communication skills with ability to work in team environments.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Exposure to other networking/security platforms such as Cisco or Fortinet.
  2. Familiarity with monitoring tools and basic security frameworks.
  3. Ability to work in dynamic enterprise environments with multiple vendors.
