If you love bringingstructure, creativity, and strategy together this role is for you.Proposal Management: Lead and coordinate the full proposal lifecyclefor strategic bids, from bid planning with technical team members, coordinationwith other internal teams to quality assurance and timely submission.Quality Control: Review and edit technical and financial proposalsto ensure donor compliance, clarity, and strategic positioning.Team Leadership and Mentoring: Work closely with SI leadership on resourceallocation for proposals. Supervise a small team of junior resources supportingproposal writing, providing guidance, feedback, and skill development.Content Development: Support drafting of EOIs, capability statements,and CVs ; refine with inputs from technical teams for coherence and impact.Strategic Support: Work with SI leadership on business developmentinitiatives – donor and partner scoping, training and capacity building of SIteam members and technical teams on proposal writing and budgeting.Process Improvements: Ideate and implement tools and frameworks toimprove the quality of proposals, timely submissions and proposal developmentprocess.Knowledge Management: Maintain and enhance the proposal content library,CV database, and standard templates for efficient proposal turnaround.Cross -functional Coordination: Engage with Finance, HR, and Operations forbudgeting, compliance documentation, and team composition inputs.Performance Monitoring: Track proposal submissions, conversion ratios, andlessons learned for continuous process improvement. RequirementsMaster's degree in English, Business Management or equivalentfields.Minimum five years of relevant experience in businessdevelopment, proposal writing, or donor engagement within a consulting or developmentorganization.Strong leadership skills and experience in mentoring juniorstaff.Proven experience in preparing bids and ensuring compliance forinternational donors (World Bank, ADB, FCDO, USAID, GiZ, DFAT, etc.).Excellent writing, editing, and quality control skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications includingWord and powerpoint. Dexterity and strong capabilities using Microsoft exceland other MS -Office supported databases.Excellent verbal and written communication and language(English) skills.Proficiency in MS -Word, MS -Powerpoint and Advanced in MS -Excel.Experience in proposal writing, donor and partner scoping andlandscape assessment.Identifying and profiling current and potential donors in thepreferred geography.Summarize findings and share it with the larger MSC team.Willingness to work in a demanding, and results oriented teamenvironment where priorities can change frequently.Ability to work in a deadline - bound environment and beyondregular working hours, as and when required.Ability to update data fields, synthesize data, and conductrigorous data analytics.Must have led a team and is able to plan and allocate tasks witha strong understanding of task complexity, dependencies, and deadlines.Ability to delegate tasks effectively, ensuring team members arefully utilized. Collaborates to balance workloads and achieve shared goals.Good team player, ability to work with a global team andself -starter willing to take initiative.Ability to effectively present to internal teams to delivertrainings or external teams to provide company overview and capabilities.Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas inwritten and spoken format. Solid knowledge of the English language and capacityto write concise and articulate business emails with little to no supervision.
