About the Role

We're looking for a UI/UX & Brand Designer to craft intuitive product experiences and bring the VOLT IQ brand to life. You will work across AI-driven product UI, design systems, and brand communication, ensuring a professional yet innovative design identity for our platform. As an early design hire, you'll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to shape how engineers interact with their AI Copilot.

This role is ideal for a creative problem solver who balances user-centered design, visual storytelling, and brand consistency with a practical execution mindset.

Key Responsibilities

Product UI/UX: Design intuitive, scalable, and visually engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications.

User Research: Translate user needs into wireframes, prototypes, and polished UI flows.

Design System: Develop and maintain a consistent design language, components, and interaction guidelines.

Brand Design: Define and evolve the VOLT IQ brand identity across digital, print, and investor-facing assets.

Graphic & Visual Design: Create compelling visuals, infographics, and presentation assets for product launches, investor decks, and marketing.

Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, product managers, and founders to align business objectives with design outcomes.

User-Centric Mindset: Advocate for seamless user experiences in every interaction.

Skill Set & Qualifications

Experience: 3–5 years in UI/UX design, brand design, or visual communication.

Design Tools: Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), or equivalent.

UI/UX Expertise: Strong portfolio showcasing mobile/web app designs, wireframes, and prototypes.

Branding Skills: Experience in brand identity, logo systems, typography, and color palettes.

Graphic Design: Ability to create high-quality marketing graphics, investor materials, and digital assets.

Bonus Skills (good to have): Motion design, 3D design, or design for AI/tech products.

Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, Visual Communication, HCI, or equivalent practical experience.
