Accounts & Finance Executive in a Water and Wastewater Treatment Company:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

  • Maintain day-to-day accounting records for all financial transactions.
  • Record invoices, payments, receipts, and petty cash transactions.
  • Prepare journal entries, ledger posting, and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Maintain accounts payable and accounts receivable records.

2. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate management reports on profitability, cash flow, and budget vs. actuals.
  • Assist management in financial analysis and decision-making.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial reports with statutory requirements.

3. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and project cost estimates.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budget allocations.
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and report deviations to management.

4. Taxation & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, and other applicable tax regulations.
  • Prepare and file GST returns, TDS returns, and other statutory submissions.
  • Maintain proper records for audits and assist auditors during statutory audits.
  • Ensure timely payment of taxes, vendor compliance, and statutory obligations.

5. Payroll & Employee Expenses

  • Prepare and process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
  • Maintain records of employee reimbursements, advances, and benefits.
  • Coordinate with HR for salary disbursement, deductions, and compliance.

6. Banking & Financial Transactions

  • Manage bank accounts, fund transfers, and cash flow planning.
  • Coordinate with banks for loans, credit facilities, and reconciliations.
  • Track outstanding payments from clients and follow up for timely collection.

7. Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, or Finance.
  • 2–5 years' experience in accounts and finance, preferably in industrial or service sectors.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹33,623.08 per month
