Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented professional to lead our finance and accounting function. This role will be responsible for setting up robust financial systems, ensuring compliance, and providing strategic insights to support the company's growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Controls:

Set up and manage core accounting systems, processes, and internal controls.

Financial Reporting:

Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and forecasting.

Cash Flow Management:

Monitor cash flow, burn rate, and runway; provide actionable insights to leadership.

Budgeting & Planning:

Lead budgeting and financial planning processes across departments.

Compliance:

Ensure adherence to tax, legal, and regulatory requirements.

External Relations:

Manage relationships with external accountants, auditors, and investors.

Fundraising Support:

Prepare financial models and investor reports to support fundraising efforts.

Tools & Systems:

Implement financial tools and systems to enable growth and scalability.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with leadership and teams to align financial strategy with business goals.

Qualifications & Skills

CA / CPA / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification preferred

4–8 years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, or related roles

Strong understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and compliance

Proven expertise in financial modeling, reporting, and forecasting

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Proficiency in modern financial tools and ERP systems
