Job Title: Senior DB Architect

Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong experience in Postgres Product Coding - Feature development, Bug fixes, Review Patches, Security Patches, Code fixes related to Long-Term Support, Performance Optimizations to queries and indexing strategies, Contribute Modules, Foreign Data Wrappers.
  • Certify and standardize database infrastructure.
  • Stay updated with the latest database technologies and trends.
  • Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to improve database systems.
  • SME in PostgreSQL Internals.
  • Expert knowledge of C, Bison, Flex, CVS, Auto tools, and Meson.
  • Knowledge to debug the existing PostgreSQL code.
  • Enhancements to PostgreSQL Community Edition software.
  • Execute CE version enhancement requests.
  • SME in troubleshooting critical events.
  • Define and set best practices as per the client environment.
  • Testing and Benchmarking.
  • Participate in Community Support Forums.
  • Community Leadership and mentoring.
