Role & responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Quality Assurance (QA) procedures in line with ISO/IMS standards.
  • Establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for quality checkpoints at each production stage (spinning, knitting, dyeing, finishing, garmenting as applicable).
  • Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for quality issues and ensure corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  • Maintain proper documentation of QA activities, inspection reports, and compliance records.

  • Oversee incoming raw material inspection (fibers, yarn, dyes, chemicals, fabrics).

  • Monitor in-process inspections at each stage to ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Supervise final inspection of finished goods before dispatch.
  • Ensure testing as per customer requirements (color fastness, shrinkage, GSM, tear strength, dimensional stability, etc.).
  • Handle customer quality complaints and ensure effective resolution.
  • Coordinate with buyers, third-party auditors, and certification agencies for quality audits.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and buyer requirements (ISO, OEKO-TEX, GOTS, etc. if applicable).

Preferred candidate profile

Graduate/Postgraduate in Textile Engineering / Textile Chemistry / related field.

Knowledge of international quality standards and customer requirements.

  • Improvement in first-time pass rate.
  • Rejection and rework % reduction.
