Position - Senior MS Access Developer

Location - Mumbai

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MS Access Developer to lead the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of complex MS Access applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Microsoft Access, VBA, and relational database design, along with the ability to interface with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

* Design, develop, and maintain robust MS Access applications using VBA, SQL, and macros.

* Optimize and refactor legacy Access databases for better performance and maintainability.

* Integrate Access applications with other data sources (e.g., SQL Server, Excel, SharePoint).

* Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional database solutions.

* Develop reports, queries, forms, and dashboards as per user requirements.

* Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and bug fixes.

* Mentor junior developers and enforce coding best practices.

* Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Skills and Experience:

* 7+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft Access development.

* Expertise in VBA (Visual Basic for Applications), SQL, and Access Macros.

* Strong understanding of relational database design and normalization.

* Experience with Access-to-SQL migration or integration is a plus.

* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience working with Microsoft 365 / Access Runtime Environments.

* Familiarity with version control tools like Git.

* Exposure to other database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).

* Prior experience in a banking & finance environment (domain-specific knowledge).
