Job Summary

The Commis Chef assists senior kitchen staff in daily food preparation and ensures hygiene, quality, and kitchen standards are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation and cooking of food as per instructions
  • Follow recipes and portion standards set by senior chefs
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of work area and equipment
  • Help in storing food items properly as per safety norms
  • Support senior chefs during service hours
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and kitchen standards
  • Minimize food wastage and handle ingredients carefully

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of cooking and kitchen operations
  • Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
  • Ability to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Team player with willingness to learn

Experience

  • Fresher or 0–2 years of experience in a hotel or commercial kitchen

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10, ₹15,000.00 per month
