1. Production Assistant / Associate – Bakery & Confectionery

Job Summary:

The Production Assistant – Bakery & Confectionery will assist in the preparation, baking, and finishing of bakery and confectionery items in accordance with company standards. The role ensures product quality, hygiene, and consistency in daily production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing bakery and confectionery products such as breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and desserts.
  • Follow recipes and standard operating procedures to maintain product consistency.
  • Measure, mix, and prepare ingredients accurately as per production requirements.
  • Operate bakery equipment (mixers, ovens, proofers, etc.) safely and efficiently.
  • Support the Head Baker or Pastry Chef in day-to-day production schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation and equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products following FIFO and HACCP guidelines.
  • Assist in inventory management and stock requisitions.
  • Maintain quality control checks throughout the production process.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in Bakery & Confectionery or equivalent.
  • 1–3 years of experience in bakery or pastry production preferred.
  • Strong understanding of baking techniques and ingredient functions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

2. Indo-Chinese Cook

Job Summary:

The Indo-Chinese Cook is responsible for preparing a variety of Chinese and Indo-Chinese dishes, ensuring authentic taste, presentation, and hygiene standards are met. The role involves cooking, plating, and assisting in menu innovation as per customer preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook Chinese and Indo-Chinese dishes such as fried rice, noodles, Manchurian, chili chicken, momos, etc.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared in line with standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Maintain mise-en-place and prepare sauces, marinades, and gravies as required.
  • Monitor cooking quality and portion control to ensure consistency.
  • Handle kitchen equipment such as woks, fryers, and steamers safely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area.
  • Check freshness and quality of raw materials and manage stock rotation.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation procedures.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–4 years of experience as a Chinese or Indo-Chinese Cook.
  • Good knowledge of Chinese sauces, spices, and cooking methods.
  • Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure kitchen environments.
  • Strong sense of taste, quality, and presentation.
  • Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.

3. Production Assistant / Associate – Continental

Job Summary:

The Production Assistant – Continental will assist in the preparation and cooking of continental dishes, maintaining the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and presentation. The role involves supporting chefs in day-to-day kitchen operations and menu execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and cooking a range of continental dishes including soups, salads, grills, pasta, and sauces.
  • Follow standard recipes and portion sizes as per company specifications.
  • Support senior chefs in daily mise-en-place and production planning.
  • Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards.
  • Operate kitchen equipment (grill, oven, fryer, etc.) safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation following hygiene and safety standards.
  • Monitor and manage food storage and labeling as per FIFO and HACCP protocols.
  • Assist in inventory control and reporting shortages to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Maintain consistency and speed during service hours.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certification in Hotel Management / Culinary Arts preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in Continental cuisine production.
  • Knowledge of Western cooking techniques, ingredients, and garnishing.
  • Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities.
  • Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety protocols.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10, ₹20,000.00 per month
