About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier cum Accountant to join our team at Unicorn Store. The ideal candidate will handle daily cash transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and support store operations by ensuring smooth billing and accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily cash collections, billing, and POS transactions.
  • Handle customer payments (cash, card, UPI, wallets) accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain cash register, reconcile daily sales, and prepare cash deposit reports.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions in accounting software (e.g., Tally/Excel/ERP).
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Support monthly closing activities and prepare basic financial summaries.
  • Assist in inventory management by reconciling stock and sales data.
  • Ensure compliance with store policies and maintain proper documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve billing-related queries.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Cashier / Accountant / Accounts Assistant (retail experience preferred).
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Tally / MS Excel / Accounting software.
  • Strong numerical and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail, honesty, and reliability.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Minimum Qualification: Graduate in Commerce / Accounting / Finance (preferred).
