FactSet is currently seeking a Payment Application Specialist to join our Finance Department at our Hyderabad, India office. This role requires a high level of enthusiasm, exceptional attention to detail, and a strong commitment to collaboration in resolving payment discrepancies. The ability to consistently meet daily deadlines is essential for success, as is maintaining a strong focus on accuracy and process quality.

What You'll Do

• Review and process Daily Bank Statements.
• Contact clients by email & phone to receive remittance information.
• Assist with special projects.
• This position will collaborate closely with the Payment Application Manager.

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication skills: able to clearly articulate ideas both verbally and in writing.
• Strong attention to detail ensures accurate processing and application of incoming payments.
• Analytical thinking: able to investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and unapplied cash.
• Proficiency with financial systems: experience with Microsoft Office Applications, and familiarity with Workday, Bank America Intelligent Receivables powered by High radius.
• Time management skills: able to manage high volumes of transactions under tight deadlines. Willingness and ability to work independently and remotely without a manager.
• Customer service orientation: communicates effectively with internal teams and external customers regarding payment issues.
• Problem-solving mindset: identifies root causes of payment mismatches and recommends process improvements.
• Integrity and confidentiality: handles sensitive financial data with discretion and professionalism.
• Team player: collaborates well with AR, collections, and finance teams to ensure cash is accurately applied.
• Experience into Payment application 3+ years.
• Any Bachelor's or Master's Degree but preferably Master.

Download bank statement(s) daily for various currencies. Research any items that have no remittance information.

Email client to request payment information.

Reach out to other teams to see if payments belong to their entities.

Data entry of bank statement payment details. Process payments into company Accounts Receivable systems. Update deposit tracking spreadsheet. Ensure that all details are updated daily & accurately. Month-End Adjustments & Reconciliations
