The Resort General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and management of the resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, maximizing profitability, and maintaining high standards of service, safety, and hospitality. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a strategic mindset to drive growth and brand reputation.
Responsibilities
Operational Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations of all resort departments (Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Security, and Maintenance).
- Ensure smooth coordination between departments to deliver seamless guest experiences.
- Implement and maintain SOPs, quality standards, and service excellence.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Maintain high levels of guest satisfaction through personalized services and quick resolution of complaints.
- Monitor online reviews and guest feedback, and implement improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the resort delivers a memorable and unique experience aligned with its brand values.
Team Leadership & Development
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Foster a positive work culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement training programs.
Sales, Marketing & Business Development
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive occupancy and revenue growth.
- Build relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, and event organizers.
- Identify opportunities for promotions, events, and partnerships to enhance visibility and brand positioning.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure compliance with legal, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Implement and monitor security and risk management measures.
- Uphold sustainability and eco-friendly practices wherever possible.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Resort Pre-opening experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of hospitality experience (preferably in a resort/luxury hotel).
- Strong knowledge of resort operations, guest service standards, and financial management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and adapt to dynamic guest needs.
- Proven track record in driving profitability and guest satisfaction.
- Tech-savvy with experience in PMS, CRM, and digital hospitality tools.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹80, ₹100,000.00 per month
