Field Sales Executive (Paytm)

Position Overview:

As a Field Sales Executive at Paytm, the primary responsibility is to promote, sell, and onboard merchants for Paytm's payment solutions and other financial services. The role involves direct interaction with merchants, businesses, and shop owners to expand Paytm's market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and approach potential merchants, retailers, and shopkeepers to onboard them on Paytm payment solutions (Soundbox, QR codes, EDC machines, etc.).

Demonstrate Paytm products, explain features, and highlight benefits to merchants.

Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales and installation targets.

Maintain strong relationships with merchants to ensure continuous usage and retention.

Collect required documents and complete KYC (Know Your Customer) formalities for merchant onboarding.

Provide post-sales support and resolve merchant queries regarding Paytm services.

Report market feedback, competitor activity, and sales performance to the team leader/manager.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Persuasive sales approach with confidence in fieldwork.

Basic knowledge of smartphones, apps, and digital payments.

Ability to work independently and achieve targets.

Good negotiation and customer handling skills.

Qualifications:

Minimum: 10th Pass

Prior experience in field sales, marketing, or customer acquisition is an added advantage.

Work Environment:

Field-based role with daily merchant visits.

Requires travelling within assigned territory/area.

Performance-based incentives along with fixed salary.
