We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in Strategic Planning, Sales & Marketing, Business Development, Product Management, Key Account Management, and Client Servicing.

Key Responsibilities

Financial

  • Expand reach and market share by adding new clients to the organizations insurance portfolio.
  • Achieve financial targets as per strategic plans through:

  • Acquisition of new clients

  • Retention of existing clients
  • Expansion and cross-selling to existing clients
  • Supporting specialist vertical budgets

Business Process

  • Create and maintain potential client databases from insurers and other sources.
  • Update KPTS (Key Prospect Tracking System) regularly.
  • Obtain policy papers from existing and potential clients.
  • Conduct detailed portfolio analysis with underwriting/claims inputs to ensure adequate coverage and competitive rates.
  • Collaborate with claims team to resolve client claims and build trust for new business acquisition.
  • Share insights with cross-functional teams to leverage organizational strengths.
  • Participate in monthly review meetings on key accounts, initiatives, and market trends.

Customer Engagement

  • Initiate client contact through mails/letters, appointment calls, and follow-up notes.
  • Prepare and maintain client lists.
  • Visit key existing clients periodically to strengthen relationships.
  • Coordinate issuance of insurance policies and ensure timely delivery to clients.
  • Ensure timely collection of premium payments.
  • Provide superior client service by:

  • Coordinating renewals with the underwriting team.

  • Facilitating claim settlements by liaising with insurance companies and claims teams.

  • Provide timely MIS inputs to management.

  • Classify customers into A-B-C categories and implement action plans:

  • A: High-priority servicing and close engagement

  • B: Focused efforts to convert leads
  • C: Maintain in database with scheduled follow-ups

People Growth & Learning

  • Continuously upgrade product knowledge and stay updated with new offerings.
  • Attend training sessions (internal/external) and apply new learning through assignments.

  • External: Existing clients, Prospective clients, Insurance companies
  • Internal: Underwriting team, Claims team, Sales & Operations team, Management
