Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and passionate QA Test Engineer to join our quality assurance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the high quality of our software applications through manual and/or automated testing processes. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and reliable solutions to our users.

Location : Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

Analyze system requirements and technical specifications.

Develop, document, and execute manual and/or automated test cases and scripts.

Identify, record, and track software defects, inconsistencies, and improvements.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.

Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure seamless releases.

Maintain and enhance test documentation and automation frameworks.

Participate in review meetings and provide feedback on test coverage and risks.

Stay current with industry best practices in QA and software testing.

Requirements

Essential:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in manual and/or automation software testing.

Familiarity with testing tools (Manual: JIRA, TestRail, etc.; Automation: Selenium, Cypress, etc.).

Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

Programming/scripting experience (for automation roles) in languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, etc.

Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases and API testing.

Exposure to Agile or Scrum development environments.
