Job Description :- Proven experience of 4 years of hands-on experience of functional testing.- Strong knowledge of quality best practices and methodologies for software testing- Experience with automation tools such as selenium, Cypress.io Katalon Studio etc.is a value added.- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment- Experience in QA methodology, familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus- Familiarity with defect tracking tools, workflows, test case management tools, agile tools, and project tools,- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors- Working knowledge of test management software- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude, Strong organizational skills- Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to multi-task day-to-day :- Work with the team on Manual Testing of Web, API and mobile applications.- Collaborate with Product team and other QA Engineers to develop effective strategies, test plans and use cases.- Execute test cases and analyze results. Evaluate product code according to specifications- Create logs to document testing phases and defects- Report defect to development teams- Help troubleshoot issues and document ever-evolving workflows and issue resolutions.- Conduct post-release or post-implementation testing- Comfortably run and read automated test scripts, own prioritization of use cases to be scripted, contribute to code reviews, write medium-high complexity test scripts independently- Automate functional tests- Serve as a point person for providing testing estimates and communicating test plan, report metrics and conduct reviews/audits to ensure that all project work and deliverables consistently meet Product Quality standards- Support and mentor other Software Test Engineers- Map business and technical requirements into test cases and/or test scripts- Cultivate and disseminate knowledge of quality assurance best practices- Data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities- Reporting team/project metrics (ref:hirist.tech)
