Responsibilities
Sales and strategy:

· Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve and exceed sales goals.
· Manage inventory, including stock replenishment and attractive visual merchandising.
Customer service and relations:
· Ensure exceptional customer service is provided, building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
· Act as a brand ambassador at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
· Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
· Offer expert advice on diamond quality, certification, and jewellery care to facilitate informed purchases.
Team leadership and development:
· Train and mentor sales staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and market trends.
· Foster a positive and competitive work environment to maintain team morale and productivity.
· Set clear performance goals and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Operations and administration:
· Manage budgets, analyze costs, and optimize profitability.
· Prepare detailed sales reports for management.
· Coordinate with design, production, and accounting departments to streamline orders and collections.
Essential skills and qualifications
· Experience: Proven track record in retail or B2B sales management, with a strong preference for candidates with a diamond or luxury jewelry background.
· Knowledge: Deep understanding of diamonds, gemstones, and fine jewelry. Familiarity with diamond grading (4Cs), certification, and the luxury market is essential.
· Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and lead a team.
· Leadership: The ability to develop, motivate, and manage a team to achieve sales targets.
· Education: While a bachelor's degree in business or marketing is often preferred, extensive experience in the luxury retail industry is highly valued.
