Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle recruitment for logistics and freight forwarding roles, including operations, documentation, and customer service positions
  • Conduct interviews, background checks, and manage end-to-end onboarding processes
  • Maintain and update employee records, attendance, and leave management systems
  • Coordinate with the finance team for payroll processing and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, professional tax, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and internal HR policies
  • Address employee grievances and support disciplinary procedures as required
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and inter-departmental communication
  • Collaborate with department heads to assess staffing needs and develop hiring plans
  • Assist in performance appraisal processes and goal-setting frameworks
  • Organize skill development or compliance-related training sessions for staff
  • Maintain HR documentation and prepare reports for audits or internal reviews
  • Liaise with recruitment consultants or vendors as needed

Requirements:

  • Graduate or postgraduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred)
  • 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in a logistics, freight forwarding, or transportation company
  • Good understanding of HR practices and regulatory requirements in the logistics sector
  • Proficiency in HR management systems or software (e.g., Zoho People, GreytHR, etc.)
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage HR functions across multiple teams or branch locations
