Job Summary

The MIS Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing the companys Management Information Systems to support the entire Revenue Cycle Management process. This role involves overseeing data management, system integration, reporting, and analytics to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and accurate revenue reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in healthcare RCM processes, data analytics, and IT systems management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Management & Reporting

  • Design and manage data pipelines and reporting tools for RCM KPIs (e.g., AR days, denial rates, collections efficiency).

  • Develop and automate dashboards using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Excel).

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of RCM data.

  • Performance Analysis

  • Provide detailed reports and insights to senior management for process improvement and revenue optimization.

  • Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and data accuracy.

  • Security & Compliance

  • Ensure data integrity, HIPAA compliance, and information security within all RCM systems.

  • Maintain proper access controls and backup protocols.

  • Team & Project Management

  • Lead the MIS and data analytics team to meet departmental goals.

  • Manage projects involving RCM system transitions or process automation.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Healthcare Administration.

  • Experience:

  • 9–12 years of experience in MIS, preferably in the healthcare or RCM domain or BPO or ITES.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare billing systems, payer rules, and RCM workflow.

  • Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency with SQL, MS Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and database management.

  • Familiarity with RCM systems (Epic, Kareo, eClinicalWorks, etc.).

  • Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards.

  • Soft Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
