for EV, agritech, and industrial applications.

We are seeking a
Strategic Sourcing Engineer
to strengthen our supply chain and vendor ecosystem for key components across mechanical, electrical, and electronic domains.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard
    vendors for machined, fabricated, casting, stamping, and electronic components
    .
  • Conduct
    supplier audits
    , evaluate manufacturing capabilities, and ensure compliance with Attron's quality and delivery standards.
  • Develop and execute
    cost reduction strategies
    , including VA/VE and alternate sourcing.
  • Work closely with
    design, manufacturing, and quality teams
    to align sourcing with technical specifications.
  • Negotiate
    pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements
    with vendors.
  • Manage
    RFQ, quotation comparison, and purchase finalization
    workflows.
  • Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery, responsiveness) and maintain evaluation metrics.
  • Support
    new product development (NPD)
    by identifying and developing suppliers for prototype and production phases.

Required Skills

  • 2–4 years of experience in
    strategic sourcing, vendor development, or supply chain
    in the
    automotive or EV industry
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    manufacturing processes
    — machining, casting, fabrication, and assembly.
  • Ability to read
    engineering drawings
    and evaluate technical feasibility.
  • Hands-on experience with
    cost analysis, negotiation, and supplier assessment
    .
  • Familiarity with
    ERP or procurement systems
    (Zoho, Tally, SAP, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and coordination skills.

Qualification

  • B.E. / B.Tech in
    Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering
    .
  • Additional certifications in
    supply chain or vendor management
    will be an advantage.
