Account Assistant/Executive-Shipping

Responsibilities:
We are looking for a female candidate with prior experience in the Shipping industry for our office in Govandi, Mumbai.
- Bookkeeping in TALLY software or any other accounting software.
- Preparation of monthly profitability statements and other MIS reports.
- Preparation of financial statements and assistance to auditors for statutory audit.
- Compiling data for tax audit.
- Filing of GSTR1(monthly), GSTR3B (monthly) and GSTR9 (annual return).
- Reconciling of input tax credit with GSTR2B and follow-up with vendors in case GSTR2B has been incorrectly / not filed by them.
- Compiling data for Income tax and GST assessments.
- Employee tax computation for deducting TDS.
- Managing payroll and distribution of salaries for upto 15 employees.
- Reconciliation with bank accounts.
- Manage vendor payments as well as sales invoicing.
- Compiling, payment of TDS and Filing of quarterly TDS returns(Form 24Q and Form 26Q on a quarterly basis).
- Generating Form 16A (quarterly) and Form 16-part A and B (annual).
- Payment of annual / monthly Profession Tax / Provident Fund / ESIC or other statutory dues.
- All filings within prescribed due dates.
