Sales Manager – Job DescriptionRole Overview:

The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales team, driving revenue growth, achieving targets, and ensuring smooth execution of sales operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue and market reach.
  • Manage daily operations of the sales team, including lead allocation, follow-ups, and conversions.
  • Monitor team performance, provide coaching, and conduct regular review meetings.
  • Support the team by joining key client calls, meetings, and closures when required.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Analyze sales data, prepare weekly/monthly revenue reports, and share insights with management.
  • Ensure proper usage of CRM tools and adherence to sales processes.
  • Coordinate with marketing, operations, and customer support for smooth lead flow and service delivery.
  • Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities, events, or campaigns to boost sales.

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of experience in Sales (EdTech or service industry preferred).
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Target-driven, result-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
  • Good knowledge of sales funnels, CRM systems, and reporting.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings or field activities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
  • Experience handling a team of sales executives.
  • Prior experience in EdTech, education, or training domain

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30, ₹60,000.00 per month
