Position Overview

The
Chief Operating Officer (COO)
will act as the organizational backbone of AWT, overseeing
business operations, delivery, HR, finance, and compliance
.

The COO will work closely with the CEO and CGO to align
business strategy, operational efficiency, and execution excellence
across all divisions.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

• Design and implement
  scalable operational frameworks
  to support rapid business expansion.
• Establish
  delivery governance models
  , KPIs, and success metrics for multiple service verticals.
• Develop
  cross-departmental processes
  connecting sales, project delivery, HR, and finance.
• Maintain operational visibility with dashboards and business performance reports.

Delivery & Client Success

• Oversee end-to-end
  project delivery and client lifecycle management
  .
• Implement SOPs to ensure
  on-time, high-quality delivery
  of products and digital solutions.
• Introduce agile practices and automation tools to improve efficiency and accountability.
• Partner with the tech and product teams to align operational goals with innovation objectives.

Human Resource & Team Management

• Drive
  performance management systems
  , team OKRs, and cultural development programs.
• Work closely with HR on recruitment, onboarding, and talent retention strategies.
• Promote a collaborative, growth-oriented, and high-performance culture across hybrid teams.

Finance & Profitability

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial discipline across departments.
• Monitor cash flow, expense control, and operational margins.
• Implement profitability tracking systems for service and product verticals.
• Support investor readiness and operational compliance for growth funding.

Strategic Execution

• Work with the CEO and CGO on the
  execution of strategic initiatives
  and new market expansion.
• Translate the company's mission into actionable quarterly and annual operational plans.
• Identify and mitigate business risks, ensuring agility and scalability of systems.
• Contribute to long-term organizational design and leadership development.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Educational Background:

• MBA or Executive Program from ISB / IIMs / or equivalent Tier-1 Business School preferred.
• Candidates with strong operational & delivery leadership experience in IT, SaaS, or consulting firms are encouraged to apply.

Professional Experience:

• Minimum
  4+ years
  in operations, delivery, or leadership roles within the technology or consulting domain.
• Proven record of managing cross-functional teams and delivering results under dynamic conditions.
• Hands-on experience with business process automation, performance tracking, and project governance.
• Ability to blend
  strategic thinking with execution discipline
  .
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Exposure to both
  startup agility
  and
  corporate process management
  is an advantage.
