About the Role: We are looking for a seasoned and visionary Power Project Head to lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of 1MW-class industrial systems. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, capable of managing complex product lifecycles and cross-functional operations. The ideal candidate will drive innovation, operational excellence, and timely execution within the EPC and industrial power systems domain.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Product Development:

• Drive the design and development of 1MW power generation systems using technologies such as Boiler-Turbine-Generator (BTG), Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), and Supercritical CO₂. Demonstrate strong expertise in heat-to power conversion systems.

• Lead the full product lifecycle for 1MW industrial systems—from conceptualization, design, and prototyping to testing, validation, and commercial rollout.

• Define product architecture, technical specifications, and performance criteria based on market and client requirements.

• Develop and maintain product roadmaps aligned with long-term business and technology strategy.

Operational Leadership:

• Oversee R&D, engineering, sourcing, testing, and supply chain functions to ensure timely and cost-effective product delivery.

• Ensure that product development processes meet quality, safety, compliance, and cost-efficiency standards.

• Establish operational frameworks to support continuous improvement and risk mitigation across functions. Team Building & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Lead and mentor a high-performing, multidisciplinary team including engineers, designers, and program managers.

• Collaborate with key departments—project execution, sales, procurement, QA/QC, and executive leadership—to ensure alignment on deliverables and business goals.

• Foster a culture of technical rigor, accountability, innovation, and agility. Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Engage with EPC clients and technology partners to understand their requirements, present solutions, and gather feedback.

• Manage relationships with external vendors, testing agencies, and consultants to ensure product certification and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Instrumentation Engineering (or related field).

• MBA or Executive Education in Management is preferred.

Experience:

• 12–25 years of experience in product development and operations within the EPC or industrial energy sectors.

• Demonstrated success in delivering 1MW or larger power systems (e.g., turbines, generators, or energy conversion systems).

• Proven leadership in technology strategy, system engineering, and cross functional team management.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• In-depth knowledge of 1MW power generation systems, including technologies like Boiler-Turbine-Generator (BTG), Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC), and Supercritical CO₂. Well-versed in heat-to-power generation principles and systems integration.

• Strong understanding of EPC project lifecycle and 1MW-class power system architecture.

• Expertise in systems engineering, embedded systems, automation, or power electronics.

• Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, IEC, CE, BIS, and IEEE.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and product development tools (PLM, CAD, FEA).

• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and stakeholder communication skills. Preferred Certifications:

• PMP / PRINCE2 / Lean Six Sigma

• ISO 9001, IEC 61439, IEEE standards

• Safety and compliance certifications for industrial power systems.
