Sales Team Manager

Role Overview:
The Team Manager – Sales will be responsible for leading, motivating, and managing a team of Business Development Associates to achieve enrollment and revenue targets. This role requires strong leadership, people management, and sales expertise within the academic/education domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and manage a team of Sales Executives/Associates to achieve individual and team targets.
- Drive student enrollments and revenue growth for the assigned region (Bangalore).
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market penetration.
- Monitor daily sales activities, lead conversion, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews.
- Collaborate with the marketing team for campaigns, events, and lead generation activities.
- Ensure proper counseling and guidance is provided to students/parents by the team.
- Prepare sales reports, analyze performance data, and share insights with management.
- Handle escalations and ensure high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-performing sales talent.

- Ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/sales tools.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 4–7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2–3 years in a team leadership/managerial role.
- Experience in academic sales/EdTech/education industry is highly preferred.
- Strong network and understanding of the Bangalore market will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹540, ₹600,000.00 per year
