Inside Sales Intern - Business Development

About the Role

We are looking for a goal-oriented and energetic Inside Sales Intern to join our Sales team. This role is a direct path to a full-time position, focusing on the critical initial stages of the sales cycle, including lead generation, outreach, and setting up qualified business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients, new business opportunities, and key decision-makers.
  • Sales Cycle Management: Strategically schedule and coordinate product demonstrations (Demos) and detailed sales meetings with qualified prospects, ultimately driving those opportunities towards successful deal closure.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Highly motivated, tenacious, and goal-oriented.
  • Basic understanding of the sales process or a keen interest in developing a career in sales.
  • Ability to handle objections and maintain a positive attitude.

Compensation and Career Path

  • Incentive (1st Month): 10% of closed deal value generated by your qualified leads (Commission-based incentive). This will be calculated and paid out on deals closed during or shortly after the 1st month.
  • Duration: 1 Month Internship (with the potential for extension).
  • Career Opportunity: Based on exceptional performance, especially in meeting lead generation and qualification targets during the one-month internship, the candidate will be considered for a Full-Time Role.
  • Full-Time Salary Range (Post-Internship): ₹1,20,000 to ₹3,60,000 per annum (CTC), including a fixed salary and performance-based components.
