About the Role

We are looking for a
motivated Junior IT Hardware & Networking Engineer
to support and maintain our IT infrastructure. Work closely with senior engineers on
network devices, servers, storage, cabling, and endpoint hardware
. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on troubleshooting skills and a passion for learning

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain
    network devices
    (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless controllers) and
    IT hardware
    (desktops, servers, storage, UPS).
  • Support
    IP addressing, subnetting, VLAN design, DNS, DHCP
    documentation.
  • Assist with
    cabling installation & labeling
    .
  • Support
    security tasks
    under guidance – VPNs, access controls, patching, and change management.
  • Document configurations, SOPs, and incident reports .
  • Collaborate with
    IT teams, vendors, and facilities
    on projects and incident resolution.
  • Maintain hardware inventory, tools, and assist with procurement coordination .

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma in IT, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Networking fundamentals:
    OSI model, TCP/IP, switching/routing, VLANs, NAT, DNS
  • Basic experience with
    Linux/Windows OS & command-line usage
  • Familiarity with
    CAT5/6/6A cabling
    and hardware troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of
    virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
    and server hardware
  • Windows
    Active Directory, group policies, endpoint security basics
  • Wireless networking & controller-based environments
