We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented
International Sales Manager
to lead our market expansion in the
Southeast Asia region
. The role will be responsible for
new business development
, strengthening and managing
distributor relationships
, and driving growth through strategic alliances. The incumbent will also represent the company at major
trade shows, industry events, and seminars
, ensuring strong
brand visibility and market positioning
.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to expand the company's footprint across Southeast Asia.
- Identify, evaluate, and secure
new business opportunities
in the region. - Build, manage, and nurture long-term relationships with existing distributors, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
- Identify, appoint, and onboard new distributors/partners to strengthen market presence.
- Conduct regular business reviews with distributors to track performance, resolve challenges, and drive sales targets.
- Represent the company at
regional and international trade shows, exhibitions, and industry seminars
to enhance brand awareness and market reach. - Monitor regional market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to provide insights for business planning and strategy.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execution of regional business plans.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to management.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business, International Trade, or related field.
- 7+ years of proven experience in
international sales/business development
, preferably in [industry – e.g., fragrances, speciality or performance chemicals - Strong track record of building and managing
distributor networks
across Southeast Asia. - Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural, fast-paced, and competitive business environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the region.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
