About the Role
• Full responsibility for P&L, growth strategy, distribution expansion, team leadership, and market execution across
Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Himachal Pradesh
.
• Ensure structured planning and strong field execution to grow Mashal Mustard Oil into a dominant regional brand.
What You Will Do
General Trade and Distribution Management
• Build and manage primary and secondary sales plans across all five states.
• Develop and strengthen the distributor network across urban, semi-urban, and rural markets.
• Appoint, evaluate, and restructure distributors to ensure capability and geographical coverage.
• Drive numeric and weighted distribution for all SKUs of Mashal Mustard Oil.
• Improve market working discipline, coverage expansion, beat optimization, and RTM efficiency.
• Lead demand planning, forecasting, and inventory management for the region.
• Enhance visibility, merchandising, and in-store branding across all markets.
• Track competitor activity, pricing, schemes, and category trends.
• Build strong relationships with wholesalers, key retailers, and trade influencers.
Team Leadership
• Lead and develop on-ground sales teams across
Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, J&K, and Himachal Pradesh
.
• Strengthen team capability through coaching, training, and performance management.
• Build a high-performance culture with clear KPIs, discipline, and accountability.
Modern Trade (State-Specific)
Modern Trade (MT), Branded Supermarkets & Hypermarkets
Own modern trade expansion and execution across the North region.

Chandigarh & Tricity Region:

• Branded Supermarkets & Hypermarkets: Leading supermarket chains and hypermarket formats across Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, and other major urban & developing centers.
Haryana:
• Reliance Retail, DMart, MORE
• Branded Supermarkets & Hypermarkets: Organized chains and hypermarkets across Gurugram, Faridabad, Karnal, Panipat, Hisar, Rohtak, and other major urban & developing centers.
Punjab:
• Reliance Retail, DMart, Spencer's
• Branded Supermarkets & Hypermarkets: Leading supermarket and hypermarket formats in Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar, Patiala, Bathinda, and other major urban & developing centers.
Jammu & Kashmir:
• Reliance Retail (select locations)
• Branded Supermarkets & Hypermarkets: Emerging supermarket formats in Jammu, Srinagar, and other major urban & developing centers.
Himachal Pradesh:
• Limited MT presence: Reliance Retail (select towns)
• Branded Supermarkets & Hypermarkets: Regional chains in Shimla, Solan, Mandi, and other major urban & developing centers.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure accurate listings, visibility, promotions, and stock availability across MT channels.
• Maintain planograms, pricing hygiene, and in-store execution standards.
• Drive sales performance, monitor fill rates, and ensure smooth supply across MT outlets.
• Collaborate with central MT teams for NPD listings, negotiations, promotional activities, and visibility planning.
Quick Commerce and E-Commerce
• Lead sales and growth across Zepto, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, and BigBasket/BBNow.
• Ensure correct listings, availability, pricing hygiene, and content accuracy.
• Monitor real-time dashboards, inventory, and service levels to avoid stockouts.
• Coordinate with category teams for banners, brand days, and visibility-driven interventions.
Business Planning and Reporting
• Manage regional P&L, budgeting, cost control, and ROI-based investments.
• Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews with insights and actions.
• Identify new markets, white spaces, and expansion opportunities across the North.
What You Will Bring

• Strong understanding of FMCG sales, general trade, and distribution management.
• Deep knowledge of Northern markets and regional trade dynamics.

Strong Sales and Sales Management skills with a proven track record of achieving targets
Experience
• 8 to 12 years of FMCG sales experience with multi-state or large-market responsibility.
• Proven ability to build and scale distributor networks.
• Experience in edible oils or food FMCG categories preferred.
• Working knowledge of modern trade and quick commerce channels.
• Demonstrated ability to drive sales growth and lead teams.
Qualifications
• Graduate or postgraduate in business, marketing, or related fields.
• MBA preferred but not mandatory.
