About Us

Weaves of Tradition is a 8-year-old artisanal fashion and lifestyle brand that celebrates Indian textiles and crafts through contemporary and ethnic designs. We are expanding our Ready-to-Wear line and scaling our D2C + marketplace operations. We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Executive to manage day-to-day operations and ensure smooth backend functioning.

Role Overview

The Operations Executive will be responsible for inventory management, order processing, vendor coordination, logistics, and customer service support. This role ensures smooth daily functioning of the business and accurate reporting to enable the founder to focus on design, creative direction, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

Inventory & Production Management:

  • Track fabric and finished goods inventory.

  • Maintain SKU-level stock records (Shopify + Myntra).

  • Coordinate with production units/tailors for timelines and QC.

  • Follow up on sampling and delivery schedules.

Order Fulfillment & Logistics:

  • Oversee daily order processing (Shopify, Myntra, Jaypore).

  • Ensure timely dispatch, courier pickups, and returns management.

  • Maintain packing quality standards.

  • Monitor RTOs and report weekly.

Customer Service Support:

  • Handle COD confirmation calls/WhatsApp.

  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipping, sizing, and returns.

  • Escalate design-related queries to the founder.

Vendor & Finance Coordination:

  • Liaise with vendors for materials, packaging, trims.

  • Track payments, invoices, and follow up with accounts.

Reporting & Process Discipline:

  • Prepare weekly reports on orders processed, inventory, production pipeline, and returns.

  • Identify bottlenecks and suggest improvements.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in fashion/retail operations preferred.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with Shopify, Excel/Google Sheets, and logistics platforms.

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle fast-paced environments.

  • Hands-on approach to ensure process smoothness.

KPIs (Performance Indicators)

  • 100%+ orders dispatched within SLA.

  • 95%+ inventory accuracy between physical and system stock.

  • Customer queries responded within 24 hours.

Compensation

  • Full-time: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (depending on experience).

  • Performance-based incentives as WOT scales.

Work Setup

  • Schedule: Monday–Saturday (on-site/field coordination as required).

  • Tools: Shopify, Excel/Google Sheets, courier/logistics dashboards.

  • Reporting: Weekly dashboard + Friday review.
