Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and dynamic PMS Deployment Lead to support our client's global portfolio of over 1300 hotels in the transition to their new Property Management Suite, including Opera Cloud and Colleague Advantage. This pivotal role ensures the seamless migration and deployment of the new Property Management System (PMS) by managing hotel configuration data, conducting training webinars, and collaborating closely with hotel teams, vendors, and regional stakeholders worldwide. The successful candidate will play a critical role in driving operational excellence and enhancing the guest experience through effective PMS deployment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation and validation of hotel configuration data to build and customize Opera Cloud for each property, ensuring compliance with standards.

  • Manage simultaneous PMS deployment projects across multiple properties, ensuring timely and successful transitions.

  • Develop comprehensive training materials, including slide decks, trainer notes, and instructional videos, tailored for deployment teams, hotel staff, and vendors.

  • Conduct engaging and informative training webinars related to client's Property Management Suite during hotel transitions.

  • Collaborate with hotel operations teams, vendors, and regional departments to facilitate smooth data migration and system onboarding.

  • Maintain and nurture strong working relationships with Hyatt's PMS vendors to support training and implementation efforts effectively.

  • Monitor deployment progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure project milestones are met.

  • Document deployment processes, lessons learned, and best practices to continuously improve PMS rollout strategies.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in hotel operations, with at least 2 years in reservations, front office, or related rooms operations.

  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in hotel operations.

  • Proven expertise in client's business practices and hands-on experience with Oracle Opera Property Management System.

  • Demonstrated experience in delivering training and preparing training content for operational teams.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of working across diverse teams and cultures.

Tools and Technologies:

  • Proficient in Opera Cloud and Colleague Advantage PMS platforms.

  • Experience with hotel operational tools such as RESERVE CRS, HotSOS, Medallia Concierge, Sertifi, and credit card processing systems is preferred.

  • Skilled in creating documentation and training materials using tools like Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and video editing software.

  • Familiarity with webinar platforms for conducting remote training sessions.
