The Role:

We are looking for a Research Analyst with a strong background in secondary research and competitive intelligence in the life sciences sector. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and synthesising data on industry trends, market dynamics, and key players in the Pharma, Biopharma, and MedTech space. Your work will directly contribute to high-impact client projects and strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct in-depth secondary research to monitor trends, competitive activity, and market developments across the life sciences sector.
  • Extract and analyse data from a wide range of free and proprietary databases to support client engagements.
  • Stay up to date on regulatory changes, product pipelines, and innovations within the Pharma, Biopharma, and MedTech industries.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on strategic projects and assist in developing actionable insights.
  • Prepare clear, well-structured research reports and presentations highlighting competitive landscapes and market opportunities.
  • Translate data into strategic recommendations that support clients' business objectives.

What Were Looking For:

  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in market research or competitive intelligence within the Pharma/Biopharma/MedTech sectors.
  • Solid understanding of secondary research methodologies and industry databases.
  • Deep knowledge of the life sciences ecosystem, including major companies, therapies, technologies, and market dynamics.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesise complex information and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficiency in market research tools, Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualisation software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
