Job Title: Assistant Professor Life Sciences

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced academic to join our Faculty of Life Sciences as an Assistant Professor in the areas of Microbiology, Environmental Science, and Zoology.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, guiding students in research projects, dissertations, and laboratory work, and contributing to the academic growth of the department.

  • Teach and mentor students in specialized areas of Microbiology, Environmental Science, and Zoology;">
  • Conduct independent and collaborative research, publish in peer-reviewed journals, and establish collaborations with industry and academia;">
  • Contribute to curriculum design, development, and continuous improvement;">
  • Engage in departmental, university-level academic, and administrative activities;">
  • Organize and participate in seminars, workshops, and conferences.">

Applicants must have a Master's degree in Life Sciences (Microbiology / Environmental Science / Zoology) with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized university, along with a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline and UGC NET qualification in the relevant subject.

Prior teaching and/or research experience is desirable, as well as strong subject knowledge, communication, and mentoring skills.

Preferred candidates should have demonstrated research experience, familiarity with modern laboratory techniques, tools, and technologies, and the ability to integrate innovative teaching-learning practices.
