Position summary:

Responsible for developing creative solutions to challenging issues associated with the design,

development, and sustaining engineering for our new and existing home dialysis product portfolio.

The successful candidate will possess solid "hands-on" technical abilities for product development & Sustenance Activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:

  • Development of mechanical systems by designing and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer, and materials. Preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Contributes to the development and documentation of mechanical systems architectures.
  • Able to effectively transition products to manufacturing and ensure robust products and manufacturing processes.
  • Performs in-depth mechanical engineering analysis and calculations, Risk Analysis.
  • Resolves competing constraints between interrelated functions (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, etc.) required to deliver the product to market.
  • Defines standard work instructions or SoP for design & testing in the mechanical oil & gas systems or sub-systems.
  • Having 3 years' experience in Autodesk Inventor part modeling, sheet metal modeling, ECN & ECR Process in Vault, iLogic & drawing creation with GD&T standards.
  • Creates and communicates design/test plans, tasks, deliverables, and status. Manages time and resources to meet committed schedule milestones.
  • Good understanding of the regulatory environment for Design, Development, and Manufacturing of industrial products.
  • Knowledge of standards such as ANSI, ASTM standards, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Success in working with multifunctional, global teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication/influencing skills required.

Qualifications:

  • A graduate or a postgraduate in Mechanical engineering and 3-5 years of experience.
  • Knowledge and experience using CAD systems for design. Specific experience in the design and development of Fluid subsystems is highly desirable.
