Job Description – Digital Marketing Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, analytical, and results-driven
Digital Marketing Specialist
to lead and execute online marketing initiatives. The role involves developing, implementing, and optimizing multi-channel digital campaigns to enhance brand visibility, drive website traffic, generate qualified leads, and improve customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Search Engine Marketing (SEM)
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content gap analysis.
- Optimize website architecture, content, metadata, and internal linking for improved rankings.
- Develop and manage backlink strategies and outreach campaigns.
- Perform regular SEO audits and implement technical improvements.
- Set up, manage, and optimize Google Ads and other PPC campaigns.
2. Digital Marketing Campaigns & Performance Management
- Manage and execute campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, Bing, and display networks.
- Strategize, launch, and optimize SEM and paid social lead-generation campaigns daily.
- Track and improve ROI, CPC, CTR, reach, engagement, and conversions across channels.
- Conduct A/B testing on ads, creatives, CTAs, and landing pages.
- Run paid social campaigns on LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and X (Twitter) Ads.
3. Email Marketing & CRM
- Build and maintain segmented subscriber lists through CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Optimize email subject lines, CTAs, templates, and content for engagement.
- Ensure deliverability, compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM), and list hygiene.
- Set up automated drip campaigns and lead-nurturing workflows.
- Execute targeted communication (email, SMS, push notifications, in-app messages).
4. Content Marketing & Strategy / Brand Advocacy
- Develop SEO-driven content for blogs, case studies, POVs, videos, playbooks, and website pages.
- Identify trending topics and create engaging, high-impact digital content.
- Strengthen brand positioning by crafting unique value propositions and elevator pitches.
- Drive customer advocacy through client testimonials (video and text).
5. Analytics & Reporting
- Use Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and social media insights to track performance.
- Measure and report campaign performance against defined KPIs (traffic, leads, conversions, ROI).
- Generate weekly/monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Monitor KPIs like CPA, CPL, ROAS, LTV, and conversion rates to optimize marketing spend.
- Identify trends, issues, and opportunities to continuously improve performance.
Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Engineering, or related fields. Post-graduate qualifications are a plus. - Experience:
2–5 years of proven experience in digital marketing. - Tools Proficiency:
- Google Analytics, Google Ads, SEMrush/Ahrefs
- Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar CRM systems
- Meta Ads Manager
- Web analytics tools (NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Ad-serving tools (DART, Atlas)
- Analytical Ability:
Strong analytical and data-driven mindset, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot, Zoho MarketingHub, Marketo, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and landing page optimization principles.
- Understanding of JavaScript, HTML/CSS limitations, and responsive design.
