Cook/Chef

The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items as per the standard recipes and quality standards of the establishment. Ensures proper hygiene, food safety, and presentation while assisting in daily kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Cooking
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes according to standard recipes.
- Handle a variety of ingredients and cooking methods (grilling, frying, sautéing, boiling, etc.).
- Ensure consistency in taste, texture, and portion size.
- Assist in menu preparation and recipe development when required.
Kitchen Operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies.
- Properly label and store ingredients.
- Follow FIFO method and ensure minimal wastage.
Hygiene & Safety
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines (FSSAI standards).
- Maintain personal hygiene at all times.
- Use kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunction.
- Ensure proper handling of raw and cooked food to avoid contamination.
Teamwork & Coordination
- Work closely with chefs and other kitchen staff.
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries.
- Support during busy operations and special events.
- Communicate effectively within the team.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions.
- Good time management and multitasking skills.
- Knowledge of hygiene and food safety standards.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹18, ₹20,000.00 per month
