Job Summary:

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the manufacturing operations of pharmaceutical products in compliance with regulatory guidelines, quality standards, and organizational objectives. This role involves planning, coordinating, and supervising the daily production activities to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality production while meeting output targets and deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning and Scheduling:
• Develop and implement detailed production schedules to meet customer demand while optimizing resource utilization.
• Monitor production progress, adjust schedules, and allocate resources to ensure on-time delivery of products.
• Quality Control and Compliance:
• Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., FDA, EMA).
• Oversee the implementation of SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) to ensure product quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA) teams to resolve quality issues and ensure timely release of batches.
• Team Management and Supervision:
• Lead, train, and manage production teams, ensuring high levels of motivation, performance, and safety awareness.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety standards.
• Inventory and Resource Management:
• Oversee inventory control for raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods to avoid production delays.
• Work closely with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure the timely availability of materials.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and waste minimization.
• Lead initiatives for improving production efficiency, reducing downtime, and enhancing product quality.
• Reporting and Documentation:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, batch reports, and compliance documentation.
• Prepare regular reports on production performance, issues, and corrective actions for senior management.
• Equipment and Maintenance Management:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Familiarity with production management software and ERP systems.
