• Developing processes for outer shield manufacturing: This involves optimizing the welding process for various shield materials, such as aluminum or copper tape, and ensuring proper bonding to the core.
• Developing processes for jacketing: This includes selecting the appropriate jacket material, controlling the extrusion process, and ensuring proper adhesion to the shield.
• Specifying and integrating equipment: This involves selecting and integrating machinery for drawing, stranding, insulating, sheathing, and other cable manufacturing processes.
• Working with design engineering: This involves collaborating with design engineers to develop new cable products and ensure manufacturability.
